School

The newest edition to the award winning Kingsport City School system is well underway. The John Adams Elementary is scheduled for completion in Late 2008. The 20 million dollar project is the first new school for Kingsport in over fifty years.

This state of the art school will feature geothermal heating and cooling, national architectural design (DLR Firm), a full gymnasium and community accessibility throughout the year. The nearly fifteen acre school footprint is located in the middle of the Edinburgh property. The tract was donated to the City of Kingsport by the Edinburgh Group.
